Bigot Brown

Bigot Brown’s comment on Gillian Duffy surmises political alienation from voters.
The sheer contempt it showed for the plebiscite was amazing.
What has followed is even more damning in the way it has been glossed over.
It is as if saying sorry is O.K.
It is major unspoken issue immigration.
Importing cheap labour so standard of living declines for all.
Will [...]

Thought on a Sunny Day.

The will of a broken warrior may reforge steel
Draw again,
The sabre of truth before any web of lies.
If a man understands the source of what is broken
Then he may mend his own heart
Fitter and lighter for the service he emerges anew,
Out of the marshes and plucks
A sword set in stone.

Immovable Mountain

Political platitudes, sound byte statements from supposed leaders.
The planes are back their noise already not heard.
A background, unnoticed hum.
Clouds in a still sky.
Newspapers full of pontificating people telling us what will or will not happen.
The shallow failure and lack of vision within our constricted system has stifled originality.
We move toward an immovable mountain.
