Yesterday I learnt of the ‘Blackberry Ping’.
A device that ‘pings’ every ‘Blackberry user’ and it is free.
Thus if a ‘dodgy’ person was driving up say ‘Scrubs Lane’ in Shepherds Bush.
He sees a road block and gets out his ‘Blackberry’.
He pings
The police wait at their road block and no one comes.
“Don’t want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?”
“Get a Blackberry.”
“You know it makes sense.”
Wish they’d existed when I was twenty three.
No wonder the U.A.E. wants to get rid of them.
