White Rose

I love
The little white rose
Outside
My window…
She has withstood
The elemental forces
With all her petals
Intact…
And I have watched,
Deeply impressed,
By her immutable nobility
In the face
Of all winter’s worst
Warnings…
This little white rose
In continual bloom…
I love you little white rose
For being
A true friend…

Birth
2000 years of birth.
Each moment,
A new moment,
A rebirth of being
All the varying miracles
Of new materialisation
In the visible
Pico seconds of time
Lost to everything.
Birth of self

Each day
For 2000 years
A child
Born
In
Bethlehem.
