PROLOGUE
I set about life with writing in mind and so many years later here it is.
As, until I met with a ‘well – heeled’ sculptor, I had little encouragement materially, to continue along this path it was a road I might not have travelled had I known where it led.
But ‘Zen again’, and on the subject of words, here as someone once said to me:
“Your writing says it much better than you do yourself, Robin.”
I quote myself from the age of 22:
‘On the road you travel
Fate is the wind and tide
That steers you to unravel
All the maps you have inside.’
This one thing I have done for decades like polishing a stone.
The documented Short Stories…those well honed, rejected Novels…those, so many correspondences, trying to capture a moment in time…
